Had a wonderful meal here on our first night in Funchal. It was great to be able to try the super tasty scabbard fish with banana and passion fruit sauce.The staff here a very welcoming and work hard to ensure customers return so if you are sick of generic hotel food and want to experience a nice family run establishment give this place a try.

What a find! We were welcomed in this afternoon and just had drinks, olives and crisps also supplied. The olives were delicious!We returned later in the day for a meal. I had garlic prawns to start followed by chicken & pineapple skewers with a beautifully fresh green salad and chips.Excellent meal and reasonably priced.The owner speaks excellent English, ideal for me with allergy’s.It’s important to support the local traders rather than the commercial chains.

I had the scabbard fish for the first time in my life and it was amazing. The way Goldi prepared it was fantastic. I also tried the pasta and the kebab which were both great. Garlic bread as a starter is a must. The waitor knew what he was doing, he arrived at the perfect times and had a good sense of humor. Tip was deserved. Note: the image I took was mid meal so chips are missing from the image.

Just Amazing From tasty red & white wine, Lampas & garlic bread, mix Fish, Octopus, best Banana and Ananas deserts ever- all delicious and finishing with Poncha!Awesome quality that deserves always full restaurant!Host is a super pleasant and great guy.Obrigado!Untill tomorrow

Very good and pleasant restaurant. The staff is excellent, friendly, and helpful. The food was good and prepared very quickly, everything was tasty. The prices are reasonable.We had seafood pasta, shrimp risotto, and pasta with mushrooms and chicken.

I don't know where start. This restaurant is pure gold. The service here is top notch, thanks to an incredible host. The food is amazing, and so delicious. If I could I would give more than 10 stars, they deserve it all. My food recommendation are Lapas, Goldi octopus paired with nice portugese white wine.
